At the outset of this issue, I wish to convey, on behalf of myself, the entire Board of Directors, and the esteemed associates of the Arab Maritime Petroleum Transportation Company (AMPTC), our heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to the esteemed former member of our Board, the former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil in the State of Kuwait, and the former Secretary General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), the Late\ Abbas Ali Al-Naqi. We beseech the Allah to bestow upon the departed soul His boundless mercy, to dwell him in His spacious paradises, and to impart endurance and comfort to his family. "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return."

In late April, AMPTC inaugurated the debut voyage of its latest tanker "Crystal." This milestone marks the fourth tanker to join the esteemed ranks of the AMPTC's fleet, all of which were commissioned for construction at the prestigious HHI Korean shipyard in 2021.

This magnificent structure has emerged in line with the environmental and technical requirements of the maritime transportation sector. These giant tankers navigate the seas on dual fuel propulsion, supported by their maritime technology and engineering capabilities within a market defined by fierce competition and unwavering leadership.

AMPTC's current standing is not fortuitous; instead, it is the culmination of meticulously crafted plans, strategic initiatives, and forward-looking visions championed by my esteemed colleagues, the members of the board. These endeavors are underpinned by the unwavering trust bestowed upon us by our founding member nations, for this trailblazing enterprise, which destiny has ordained to serve as an exemplar of thriving ventures in our industry.

The Board of Directors has undertaken the development of long-term strategies to ensure AMPTC's future vision is anchored in competitiveness and the optimal utilization of human and financial resources. This initiative aims to fortify the AMPTC's standing as one of the world's premier and most esteemed maritime transportation enterprises. Significant structural changes within the AMPTC's general management include the advancement of second-tier leaders and preparing them to assume greater responsibilities. The Board of Directors asserts that cultivating and enhancing the human element is fundamental to achieving success.

The Board of Directors' unwavering support and consensus in making decisive decisions, even under exceptional circumstances, underscore their genuine commitment to implementing new plans and strategies.
