AMPTC takes delivery of the tanker "Crystal"
In late April, AMPTC inaugurated the tanker "Crystal." The tanker was built at the Korean Hyundai Heavy Industries (H H I) shipyard in 2021. The ceremony was graced by the presence of a distinguished delegation led by Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Muhannadi, a member of the Board of Directors, representing the State of Qatar, and an administrative delegation representing the Company.
Al-Muhannadi stated that: On behalf of myself and my fellow members of the Board of Directors, it is with immense pleasure that I stand before you today at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard to formally take delivery of the latest addition to our Company's fleet, the tanker "Crystal." In his speech during the inauguration ceremony, he expressed, "It is a distinct honor to serve as the patron of this event, celebrating the launch and naming of the tanker "Crystal". I extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the management of HHI Shipyard and to everyone who played a role in the creation of this magnificent tanker. Additionally, I wou;d like to extend my sincere congratulations to the Chairman and the Board of Directors on this noteworthy accomplishment. Al-Muhannadi further added that it is a milestone in AMPTC's history, to launch the tanker "Crystal."
The tanker operates on a dual-fuel system and adheres to international standards for environmental protection and maritime safety. In conclusion, I would like to commend the robust and enduring bilateral relations between the Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company and Hyundai Heavy Industries. I am optimistic that this cooperative relationship will continue to thrive, and I eagerly anticipate future achievements that will be mutually beneficial. Wishing everyone success.
